

James is a 19 year old folk musician from Scotland. Origanlly from Glasgow, and raised Ayrshire, James takes inspiration from different aspects of his musical background to create a distinct and diverse sound.
As seen on BBC One's Hogmanay Live, multiple times on BBC Alba, STV and in many venues across Europe, James is an energetic performer with a lot of passion and though only 19 years of age, James has perfromed with some of Scotland's finest artist;

as well as being a full time student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland studying on the BMus (Scottish Music) Honours degree. As part of musical collaborations, he has also had the privelage of touring all over the world. James has performed in such places as Qatar, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, China and Hong Kong.
James is proud to be endorsed by McCallum bagpipes, and plays a set of silver and ivory AB6 pipes and a set of Fred Morrison Reelpipes. He also plays an Auden guitar and Colin Goldie whistles.
